The official launch of the MainVerse Project took place during the Kickoff Meeting held on November 26-27, 2024, in Izmir. Hosted by MET İleri Teknoloji, the event brought together all project partners, strengthening collaborations and taking exciting steps toward the project’s future.
- The event continued with presentations introducing the different work packages (WP) of the project. Industry leaders such as Artech, Almende, TÜPRAŞ, WAT Motor Sanayi, and KEREVİTAŞ delivered detailed presentations on their responsibilities and contributions to the project. Each partner shared how they would guide the project in line with their use cases, technological innovations, and goals.
- The day proceeded with a demo session showcasing MET’s DRONEQUBE and WAT use case scenarios. Following this, a factory tour at MET facilities offered attendees a unique perspective on the equipment and infrastructure directly related to the project.
- The second day continued with exciting developments. A presentation on AENEAS financial processes and project support provided valuable insights on how the project’s financial mechanisms work and how sustainability will be ensured.
- In panel discussions, future technologies such as industrial AI integration, Digital Product Passport (DPP) standards, and the integration of AGV (Autonomous Guided Vehicles) were addressed. These deep-dive sessions, with contributions from MET, Almende, WAT, TÜPRAŞ, and KEREVİTAŞ, clearly outlined the scope of the technological advancements to be implemented in the project.
- Particularly, discussions on AI model deployment, data collection processes, and UxV (Autonomous Vehicles) deployment highlighted the potential of the project in industrial and mobility sectors.
- The meeting concluded with a closing speech by Murat Merdin, General Manager of MET İleri Teknoloji. The importance of MainVerse Project’s strong partnerships, its capacity to produce innovative solutions, and its potential to revolutionize industries was emphasized. The action items that emerged during the meeting signaled that the project’s progress would quickly come to fruition.
- With this historic meeting, the MainVerse Project has only just begun. The project will create a significant impact and leave a lasting mark in the technology world with its future developments and collaborations.
